Sakamoto Harui (坂本春猪), as Ryoma’s close nephew, had an exceptional affection for him. Even when he first visited Nagasaki Port, which belonged to the Satsuma Domain(薩 摩 藩), he often sent rare gifts of the time such as Western perfumes and face powders, along with letters, showing his deep care for his nephew.
HARUI is a mule based on a classic Mary Jane design. It features a Velcro strap that allows you to adjust the fit across the instep, and it has a wide silhouette. Stitching was removed as much as possible.
